The North Downs Roof Garden

We entered this stunning roof garden into the 2021 Pro Landscaper ‘Sustainable Project Awards Under 30k category’ which it won with commendation.

Our client wished for the space above her newly built garage to be transformed into a roof garden so the family could relax and entertain whilst enjoying the most wonderful views over the North Downs and Kentish Weald

The available space was accessed via new steps leading up from the drive to the side of the garage. We placed pressure treated non slip decking over roof with bespoke guttering, irrigation and lighting schemes. The hand-built stainless steel BBQ/kitchen were our own design, all illuminated and with built-in power and charging points/Wi-Fi.

The planting of Corten Steel planters included semi-exotic planting, Agapathus, Trachelospermum, Pittosporum Tobira, Hebe, Yucca, Ilex, and Cordyline.

All of our designs are hand rendered.

The finishing touches of garden furniture were the client’s own and gives a personal touch.
